Non Directive Play Therapy

Supporting Children through Grief, Loss, and Overwhelm

Growing up is hard work, and it sure can be confusing. Children process events, experiences, and emotions differently than adults. Non-Directive Play Therapy is an approach that allows children to process difficult emotions in ways that feel approachable, safe, and spacious.

When children are given permission to work through tough feelings in their own way, they have a natural ability to know what needs to happen. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where kids get to practice being with and naming big feelings, discovering what they need during times of overwhelm, and working through complex issues in an approachable way.

Navigating Loss:

Have you and your child experienced a death in the family? Grief can show up differently in children, and it can be hard to know how to support yourself and your family through a major loss. I have years of personal and professional experience supporting children through the grief process.
