Teletherapy

Teletherapy can be a wonderfully convenient, low-risk way to receive the benefits of psychotherapy from the comfort and safety of your own home. I offer teletherapy services to all clients, and virtual sessions are available for individuals living anywhere in California. I use a blend of somatics, psychodynamics, and mindfulness, which supports clients in making sense of the ongoing conversation between their body’s signals and their mind’s interpretation.

Individualized Care

I welcome your uniqueness, and I make it a priority to honor the complexity of the human experience, so you can expect individualized care and a customized, collaborative treatment plan. I want to help you understand & process your pain, and I also want to support you in understanding & accessing what lights you up, and makes you feel alive & well. While I have plenty of valuable education, training & experience, I will always honor that YOU are the expert on your experience. This stance is important in my client centered approach. I aim to create a safe space for you to process your experiences and build agency and trust in your own decision making abilities.

My Approach

CALM OVERWHELM & INVITE EASE

We’ll work collaboratively, customizing the work to support your unique therapeutic goals. Sessions typically include a blend of somatic, psychodynamic, and mindfulness practices to help support your process. In other words, you can expect some mind, some body, and lot of heart.

We’ll be checking in with the body and nervous system, using it as a source of wisdom. And we’ll be honoring the way your ancestral and lived experiences have shaped you. I aim to support you in connecting unapologetically to your authentic self. I’ll offer gentle guidance inward, to help you build a unique understanding of what you need to feel balanced, resourced and capable.

Personal growth is not always easy, but it doesn’t have to be harsh. I believe therapy is more effective when it’s gentle and kind. Creating a safe & non-judgmental space is top priority, so I’m continually doing the work I need to do in order to provide trauma informed, anti-racist and gender affirming care. Because when your mind and body feel safe enough, you become your true self, and you deserve to be the most fully expressed you.
